The festival «PRO Misto" is an open platform for the dialogue and cooperation among all who are looking for best ideas for Kiev and want to bring them to life. Its main purpose is to bring together representatives of authorities, socially responsible businesses, social activists, experts and ordinary citizens of Kiev for a positive change in the capital.
During the festival the center ACCO International hosted an exhibition dedicated to the urban projects and some presentations were held by public activists. The discussion was about rethinking of transport strategy, availability of public space, energy saving and environmental protection, as well as the successful practices of transformation of urban space by the community.
Veolia Ukraine supported the event by providing a separate collection and transportation of solid waste. Also, a dedicated demonstration area hosted some workshops on the rational use of natural resources, proper distribution and waste collection.
