It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our esteemed colleague, mentor and great friend of Ukraine - Matthias Vogel, Executive Director of Waste Management Central and Eastern Europe at Veolia, Director of the Ukraine region
Matthias Vogel was a man who always inspired with his humanity, tolerance, sincere respect for everyone and willingness to help. His kindness and sensitivity set an example for all of us.
Thanks to his exceptional professional knowledge, education and strategic thinking, Mr. Vogel made an invaluable contribution to the development of Altvater, Sulo and Veolia, leaving behind a solid foundation for further growth.
His bright image as a friend, colleague and mentor will always remain in our memory. Mr. Vogel was not just a leader, but a person who was able to unite teams around him, showing that true strength lies in unity, mutual respect and cooperation.
The Veolia Ukraine team expresses its sincere condolences to the family, friends and everyone who had the honor of working with Matthias. We are deeply saddened by this great loss and will remember him as an outstanding person who left a bright mark in the hearts of many.
